Carol Jean Grace (Gingrass) Juhl, missionary for the Lutheran Church

Carol Jean Grace (Gingrass) Juhl peacefully passed away of
complications from a heart attack and pneumonia. Carol was the
loving wife of the late Ernest Chris Juhl. She was preceded in
death by her parents Paul Joseph Gingrass and Grace Emily (Zerbel)
Gingrass; half-brother Bob Gingrass; half-sister and her husband
Charles and Sally Duffy; sister-in-law Betty Gingrass; and many
aunts, uncles and cousins. Carol is survived by her “big brother”
Jack L. Gingrass of Iron Mountain, Michigan; her half-brother Paul
Gingrass, Jr.; her aunt “Angie” Gingrass and uncle Roland Strolle;
her daughters, Barbara (Barton) Brown of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Sue
(Jerry) Nelson of Auburn, Chris (Vance) Love of Healdsburg, Kathy
Ash of Klamath Falls, Oregon; her six grandchildren, Kris (Donna)
Lovelass, Kelli (Tim) Dahm, Kerri (Bill) Thornburg, Julie Hoyt,
Laurie Anne (Daniel) Loves-Ages, Jayme (Jeff) Hanson; her 12
great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear
friends. Carol’s work career spanned 56 years. She was the
bookkeeper and office manager for various companies in Montana and
also for the Arizona Volunteer Fire District in Sun Lakes, Arizona
for many years. Carol loved spending time with all her family and
friends. Her hobbies included baking, reading, cross-stitching and
embroidery work. She was a member of Labor of Love at Faith
Lutheran Church in Meadow Vista, the Guilded Quilters of Merle West
Medical Center and the Senior Center of Klamath Falls. She was also
a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Klamath Falls. Carol and her
late husband, Ernie, were members of the Big Sky Singers in Helena,
Montana from 1975-1977. After Ernie passed away in 1977, Carol went
to Papua, New Guinea as a missionary for the Lutheran Church for
two years. Carol and her daughter Kathy moved to Klamath Falls in
May 2004. Memorial services were held on Saturday, March 19, 2005
at the Hope Lutheran Church in Klamath Falls, Oregon. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests donations in Carol’s memory to Faith
