Sallie Elizabeth Strahm, 75, of Sebastopol died on March 1 surrounded by her family.

Sallie was born in Tulare to the late Charles and Florence
Babcock. She was a resident of Sebastopol for the past 34 years,
and previously a resident of Woodacre for 18 years. She was a
member of Republican Women, Sebastopol Newcomers Gadabout and
I.M.P.A.C.T.
Sallie is survived by her husband, John Strahm of Sebastopol.
She was mother of Janice (Scot) Barbour of Reno, Heidi (Lyle)
Carpenter of Sebastopol and Julie (Walid) Halawah of Roseville,
grandmother of Ryan, Beth, Michael, Sonia, Amira and Adam and great
grandmother to Shaylee and Breeauna. She is survived by her
brothers Gilbert (Dolores) Babcock of Santa Margarita and Douglas
(Cathy) Babcock of McMinnville, OR, brother-in-law Robert (Doris)
Strahm of Murrieta and several nieces and nephews. Family and
friends are invited to attend a celebration of Sallie’s life at 10
a.m. on Friday, March 11 at Pleasant Hills Funeral Home, 1700
Pleasant Hill Rd., Sebastopol. Memorial donations to a favorite
charity are preferred.
