Raymond Charles Hahn, 88, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Jan.
27, 2005. Ray was born on March 1, 1916 in Fall City, Nebraska, and
spent the last 41 years of his life in Sonoma County. He is
survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Betty Hahn, of
Santa Rosa; his children Gary Hahn of Windsor, Terry Marie Searby
(Hank) of Windsor and Bonnie Lee Ramer of Sand Point, Idaho; his
grandchildren Jackie Marie Howe of Windsor and Michelle Elizabeth
Wiser of Santa Monica; and his great-grandson Cody Taylor Howe.
Following a 25-year career with Lockheed as a purchasing agent, Ray
and Betty moved to Sonoma County where he became the owner of Santa
Rosa Overhead Door Company, enjoying another 25-year career as a
businessman. His passion was golf, playing in Wikiup and Bennett
Valley. He was a member of the Senior Club of Bennett Valley where
he shot two holes-in-one. Ray was an active member of the
Independent Order of Odd Fellows for more than 50 years. He was
devoted to his dog, a Pomeranian named Bo, who will miss him.
Services were held on Jan. 31, 2005, at Santa Rosa Memorial Park in
Santa Rosa.
