Lily Bruce

Lily Martha Bruce, of Guerneville, died on Jan. 21 with her
daughters by her side. Lily is survived by her daughters, Marilyn
Canja, Janice Tofting and Kristine Davis, her sons-in-law, Angel
and Richard, her grandchildren, Eric, Jonathan, Andrew, Elizabeth,
Richard, Megan, Julia and great grandchildren, Jaron, Damien,
Kristina, Danielle, Markis, Faith, Angelo, Audrey, Alice, and, her
namesake, Lily. She is also survived by her brother, William
Crawley, niece Donna and nephew Richard along with friends from her
childhood in Roblin, Manitoba, through her career at Crocker Bank,
neighbors in Daly City, her church family at St. Andrews and her
many friends in Guerneville. Her sharp wit, wonderful sense of
humor, and great strength will be missed along with her stories,
and she had many stories. She also had a keen interest in life and
an opinion about everything. A memorial service will be held at 3
p.m. on Jan. 30 at St. Andrews Episcopal Mission in the Redwoods,
20329 Highway 116 in Monte Rio. Donations in her name can be made
to the food program at St. Andrews or Guerneville Senior
Center.
