Richard J. Bietz Sr.: World War II veteran

Richard J. Bietz Sr., 79, passed away in Healdsburg on December
20, 2003. Richard was the dearly beloved husband of Roberta Bietz
of Healdsburg; loving father of Linda JoAnn Bietz of Vacaville,
Rickie Louise Pina and her husband John C. of Healdsburg, and
Richard John Bietz Jr. of Saratoga; adored grandfather of Frank,
Beth, John, Patricia and Darrell, great-grandfather of four.
Richard served in the US Army Infantry during World War II, and was
a member of the Elks and the Holiday Ramblers. He was an avid
fisherman, and together with his wife spent many enjoyable hours
traveling in an RV. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial
Service on Saturday, January 3, 2003 at 1 p.m. at the family home.
