Robert Franklin (Bob) Hall was born on September 14, 1929 and
was a lifelong native son of Healdsburg. Bob died at home in
Healdsburg on December 2, 2003 surrounded by the love of his family
and friends. Survived by his beloved wife Irene Gyanne Hall and his
greatest love and accomplishment, his children Ruth Garcia, Keith
Hall (Tonya), Jack Hall (Beckie), Michael Hall, Willow Cadd-Hall
(Gena) and the late Steven Cadd-Hall; grandchildren, Michelle,
Rachel, Josh, Zac, Madison, Isabella, David, Arianna, Tyler, Julia
Evaleise, Daniel, Elysia, Marina, and James; great-grandchildren,
Michaela, Brianna, Jason and Andrew. Bob is also survived by his
beloved mother Ellen Hall and predeceased by his father Ewell Hall.
He also leaves his “brother” cousin Oak Elder (Connie). He was a
loving brother to Nelda Hull and Myrna Fincher, and brother-in-law
to Earl Fincher, Roy and Linda Elliott, and the late Ray Hull. He
is also survived by his ex-wife Suzanne Hall and numerous nieces
and nephews. Bob was an avid fisherman, diver, rockhound, and 49er
fan. He also liked to travel and spend time with his many friends.
Bob served his country with pride in the United States Air Force
during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the American Legion
and Disabled American Veterans. Bob lived his life never judging
anyone by the color of their skin or the car that they drove. He
was above all honest and a man of integrity. A celebration of Bob’s
life was held at Trentadue Winery in Geyserville on Sunday,
December 7, 2003. The family would like to wish a special thank you
to their friends, the staff of Sutter-VNA Hospice, Bob, Elizabeth,
Jay, Kevin, Angelica, and Lilianna for all their love and support
in Bob’s care, and to their many friends that loved and supported
him. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions
be made in Bob’s memory to Sutter VNA Hospice, 1110 North Dutton
Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA, 95401.
