Barbara H. Ambuehl, a longtime resident of the Alexander Valley,
passed away at home in Cloverdale, August 1, 2003. Barbara is
survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Vernon Ambuehl; her
sons and daughters-in-laws James and Shari Ambuehl of Penngrove,
Lance Ambuehl of Healdsburg, Richard and Alison Ambuehl of San
Diego; brother and sister-in-law John and Velda Wasson of Houston,
Texas. She is the niece of Fred and Ruby Wasson of Alexander
Valley, Phil and Geneva Wasson of Boonville; devoted grandmother of
Tyler and Danielle. Barbara is a native of Whitehorse, Yukon
Territory, Canada. She was 71 years old. A Memorial to celebrate
her life was held Wednesday afternoon, August 6, at Fred Young
& Company in Cloverdale. Memorial donations to the Cloverdale
Senior Center would be appreciated.
