Ruth Stevens

Ruth “Auntie” Stevens, 89, of Sebastopol, died on Dec. 17. Born,
raised and educated in Minnesota, she moved to Sonoma County in the
early ’40s. She was one of the founding members of the Hessel
Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Palm Drive Hospital.
She enjoyed playing cards and baking for her nieces and nephews.She
is preceded in death by her sister, Lois Clark, brother Clyde
Stevens and nephew Jack Clark. She is survived by her brother Roy
Stevens of Minnesota, nephew Larry Clark and his wife, Virginia,
her niece Donna Rodland and her husband, Harold, her niece Sharon
Town and hew husband, Ed, her nephew Don Clark and his wife, Elayne
and numerous other nieces and nephews. Donations in her memory can
be made to the Hessel Church Building Fund.
