Arthur Well

Arthur E. “Art” Well, 90, died on Nov. 18 in Sebastopol.Born,
raised and educated in Miles Station, IL, he moved to Sonoma County
in 1981. He was a member of the Masonic Organization for more than
50 years, a member of Sirs and the Sebastopol Newcomers Club. He
played golf with the Sirs group “Duffers,” organized numerous
bridge groups, worked on AARP Tax Preparation Team and enjoyed
volunteer work.He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth, and son,
Allen. He is survived by his children Dale E. and his wife, Carol
Well of Texas and Stanley Well of San Pedro, four grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren. The family thanks those who provided
special care for him — the staff at Zimpher Home, the Memorial
Hospice caregivers and many friends. A service will be held at 1
p.m. on Nov. 30 at the Sebastopol United Methodist Church.
