Lee Cavagnaro Rist passed away peacefully at her home after a
long illness on November 21, 2002 at the age of 49 years old. Lee
was a resident of Healdsburg all of her life. She was a member of
the Russian River Riders and a longtime member of the MS Society.
She had a great love for her horses and small animals, and loved to
sketch and paint. She was employed 17 years in the banking business
and was the beloved wife and best friend of Robert Rist of
Healdsburg. She was predeceased by her loving sister Jessie
Cavagnaro of Healdsburg and her late father Charles Cavagnaro of
Montague, California. She is survived by her beloved mother June
Neligh and step-dad Jerry Neligh of Healdsburg, her brother Charles
Cavagnaro of Portland, Oregon, sister and brother-in-law Kathleen
(Kae) and Quante of Montague, California, her sister Elizabeth (and
Bruce) Johnson of Healdsburg, several nieces and nephews, and other
relatives in Healdsburg. Services will be held at St. John’s
Catholic Church on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 10 a.m. Donations
in her memory can be made to Sutter VNA & Hospice, 1110 North
Dutton Avenue, Santa Rosa, California 95401.
