Services for Youon Trahan Barrilleaux, 65, will begin at 10 a.m.
Tuesday at David Swan Chapel with the Rev. Roland Fontenot
officiating. Entombment will be in St. Marcellus Mausoleum in
Rynella.
Visitation will be today from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home,
which will reopen Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the time of
services.
A native of Delcambre and resident of Avery Island, Mrs.
Barrilleaux died at 9:40 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2002, at Maison
Teche Nursing Home.
Mrs. Barrilleaux worked for McIlhenny Co. for more than 25
years.
She is survived by three daughters, Ramona Falgout, Leona Bourge
and Cathy Leonard, all of New Iberia; her brother, Elverse Trahan
of New Iberia; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Barrilleaux was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and
Adez Bourq Trahan; and her grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Touchet Jr., Seth, Ryan and Gerald
Touchet Sr., Marty Trahan and Jody Leonard.
David Swan Chapel (Iberia Street) of New Iberia is in charge of
arrangements.
