David Vincent Garzoli – Known as a talented guitar player

David Garzoli, a longtime resident of Sebastopol and Cotati,
died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008. He was 50. Garzoli was the son of
Bernadean and Enio Garzoli and was best known as a talented jazz
guitarist and often played with Jim Boggio.
When David was young, his mother taught him how to play the
guitar. Throughout the 80’s, David played in various bands in So.
Co. It was around that time he met the legendary musician Jim
Boggio.
Garzoli is survived by his three sisters, Michele Garzoli-Brown
of Grass Valley; Lynn Garzoli of Grass Valley and Cathie Lopez of
Corte Madera.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 15 at
Parent-Sorensen on Main Street in Sebastopol. The service begins at
11 a.m.
