School Board to hear charter school information

The Healdsburg Unified School District Board of Trustees will
meet on Wednesday Feb. 16 for their regularly scheduled monthly
meeting. Board President Edward Crowell will call the meeting to
order at 6 p.m. at Healdsburg City Hall on Grove Street.
The meeting will begin with a ‘Celebrating Success’ presentation
from the After School Education and Safety Programs (ASES).
After opening the floor for public comments, the board will give
an update on the new Charter School and select a governance
council.
The board will then receive a report by the Marce Becerra
Academy, which recently applied for accreditation. The meeting will
wrap up with routine information on district meetings and
events.
