Young artists exhibit

Young local artists and their adoring fans enjoyed the artist’s reception for the seventh annual Young Artists’ Show at the Healdsburg Center for the Arts.
On Feb. 24 elementary school students from Alexander Valley School, Geyserville Elementary, Fitch Mountain School, Healdsburg Charter School, Healdsburg Elementary, Sonoma Country Day School, St. John’s Catholic School, The Healdsburg School and West Side School had art of all varieties displayed in the gallery setting.
Sculpture, paintings, mixed media, etchings and sewing projects adorned the space. The annual display is put on by the Healdsburg Center for the Arts and the Healdsburg Education Foundation. The show will run until March 12. The Healdsburg Center for the Arts is open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. and
 Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is located at 130 Plaza Street and can be reached at 431-1970 or
