Healdsburg District Hospital (HDH) volunteers, known affectionately as “The Pink Ladies,” installed new officers June 14 at a ceremony at the hospital.
Kristina Holloway, Chief Human Resources Officer for HDH, welcomed the group and installed the officers.
Each officer was given two roses, symbolizing their dedication and devotion to volunteering, and each officer then passed one of her roses to volunteer president, Ellen Wiltz, symbolizing their support of her.
The newly installed officers are President Ellen Wiltz; Vice-President Stephanie Gibbs; Treasurer Bonnie Fisher; Assistant Treasurer Cookie Emmons; Recording Secretary Debbie Williams; and Corresponding Secretary Kathryn Popich.
The volunteers also enjoyed a cake commemorating the organization’s 45 years of service at the hospital.
Hospital volunteers come from throughout northern Sonoma County.
