The public is invited to celebrate the completion of the project to renew the historic section of the Oak Mound Cemetery, and to witness the dedication of the cemetery’s restored Leda Fountain.

The festivities will be held at Oak Mound Cemetery, 601 Piper Street, Healdsburg, Thursday October 5, 4:00 to 6:00pm, with the dedication ceremony at 5:30pm.  Attendees will be able to tour the historic section of the cemetery, which holds family grave sites of the Healds, the Fitches, the Mathesons and other Healdsburg pioneers.
Admission to the event is free, and refreshments will be served.  If you plan to attend, please rsvp to the Museum, (707) 431-3325 or [email protected].  Parking is limited, so carpool when convenient.
The Oak Mound Cemetery project was sponsored by the Healdsburg Museum and Historical Society and was carried out by a host of business and individual volunteers.  The event gives us a chance to recognize and thank them.  We hope you will join us in this community celebration.
