The annual Sonoma County Hot Air Balloon Classic is this weekend in Windsor. As is traditional, festival sponsors and the media got a sneak peek Friday morning. The weather was perfect and the sky above the park was filled with fancifully shaped and colored balloons. The festival is open to the public Saturday and Sunday, June 9 and 10. The gates open both days at 4 a.m. The “Sonoma Strong” balloon glow takes place before dawn, at 5 a.m. both days, tether rides begin at 6 a.m. and the main launch starts at 6:15 a.m. For tickets and information visit www.schabc.org.
