Robert Carrillo passed away on June 8 in Klamath Falls, OR at
the age of 83. Robert was born on March 9, 1924, to Lawrance and
Alma (McDaniel) Carrillo in Santa Rosa, CA. He grew up in that area
and graduated from Analy High School in Sebastopol, CA. Robert then
joined the Army and served his country in World War II. On April
16, 1944, Robert married the love of his life Alice Jean Jacobs, in
Forestville, CA. They lived in Sebastopol until 1996 when they
bought a ranch in Chiloquin, OR. He worked as a rancher his whole
life and loved the lifestyle. Robert enjoyed fishing and hunting
and is remembered for being a loving father and a honest man of his
word. Robert loved his cows, his dogs, and his land, his mules and
his family. He worked hard his whole life. Robert also loved
&#8220Gun Smoke”, and John Wayne. Some of his favorite times
were mule packing and camping with his family, and holidays. Robert
is a hero to family and will live forever be in their hearts.
Robert is survived by his daughter Joan Carrillo of Chiloquin, OR;
granddaughter and husband Alycia and Eric Antheunisse of Lodi, CA,
granddaughter and husband Leah and Frank Tibbens of Windsor, great
grandchildren Ashle and Brenden Antheunisse, and Sloane and
Franklin McDaniel Tibbens; sister Dolores Roark of Fall River
Mills, CA. He was precededin death by wife Jean Carrillo and
brother Lawrance Carrillo. A graveside service was held on Tuesday,
June 12, at 10 a.m. at Eternal Hills, including local military
honors by the V.F.W.
