Peter Leras died tragically in a construction site accident on
July 26 in Juliatta Idaho, where he resided. He was 49. Leras, a
western Sonoma County native, is survived by his wife Teresa, sons
Dustin, Peter and David, and daughters Angie and Chelsey. Leras is
also survived by his parents Harry and Nancy Leras; grandfather
Harry Burke Sr., and by other relatives Harry Jr., Jim Leras, and
Julie Caraway.
Leras graduated from Monte Rio School and Cardinal Newman. He
served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a heavy equipment mechanic.
Plans for a local memorial service may be announced at a later
time.
