The Healdsburg City Council will hold its next meeting on Monday, April 1.
Council will receive a presentation on the CASA Compact. This is a Bay Area policy package plan in regard to the area’s housing crisis. Mayor David Hagele will likely be given authority to act on the city’s behalf at Council Members Association of Sonoma County after a discussion on the city’s position.
There will also be a review of letters of interest and determination of how to vote in the City Selection Committee and Board of Directors meeting on April 11, in Petaluma.
A conditional award is also likely to be granted to Rege Construction for the Water Reclamation Facility pond lining project in the amount not to exceed roughly $1.43 million.
Old business includes the purchase of the property at 1302 Prentice Drive for $5 million. There will also be a report regarding the hotels discussion.
There will also be an agreement amendment with CalPERS. This will be the first reading.
The consent calendar will have a second reading of the Mill District Development Agreement. It will also include one road closure request for the Future Farmers Twilight Parade on May 23. The farmers market and Future Farmers Country Fair both have requests for consumption of alcohol.
The continuation of the local emergency caused by the flood that began Feb. 26 will also be among consent items, as will a third quarter fiscal update reported by staff.
