Kathleen “Kay” Annetta (Caldwell) Krier, a loving
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, 81, passed
on to her new life Feb. 6 in Santa Rosa. She leaves a multitude of
enjoyable memories. Kay was born in Parson, Kansas, daughter of
Helen and Austin Caldwell. Her family moved to California and she
grew up in the Santa Clara area. She was raised by her mother after
her father died at an early age. Her mother later remarried her
stepfather Clyde Taylor. After graduating from San Jose State, she
married and was blessed with five daughters; Kay lived in the San
Francisco Bay area for 28 years and Windsor for 18 years. Kay is
survived by her daughters and their spouses, Georgina, Karen,
Kirsten, Jennifer and Suzie; grandchildren, Amy, Jeff, Jonathon,
Christopher, David, Stephanie, Daniel and Michael; great
grandchildren, Casey, Aidan, and Patrick; and seven nieces and
nephews. She will be missed always. The family would like to give a
special thanks to all those who reached out with love and comfort
helping her this past year. Friends are invited to attend a
Memorial Mass celebrating her life Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady
of Guadalupe Church, 8400 Old Redwood Hwy, Windsor. Private
