Katie Elizabeth Steingruber – A friend to many

Katie Elizabeth Steingruber ws born on April 13, 1919 in
Germany. She died on Jan. 25, 2007 at home in Sebastopol. She came
to Marin County in 1924 with her parents and siblings. She is
survived by two children, Margaret Waschke Anderson (Garry) of
Sikeston, MO and Richard Steingruber of Petaluma; five
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Katie’s favorite hobby
was her chickens. She was a friend to many and will be missed.
Donations may be made to Memorial Hospice of Santa Rosa. At her
request, no funeral will be held. Interment was at Mt. Tamalpais
Cemetery, San Rafael.
