Passed away at age 94 on June 2, 2008 at Cloverdale Healthcare
in Cloverdale CA. Sandra was born in the state of Washington on
August 16, 1913, to Michelangelo and Dolores Ghilarducci. The
family moved to San Francisco in 1929. She attended Galileo High in
San Francisco, where she was very active musically playing both the
saxophone and the accordion. She married Louie Puccioni in 1933 and
moved to his family’s ranch off Mill Creek Road in Healdsburg. She
had two children Angelo and Doreen. She was an extremely hard
worker and raised cattle, sheep, and grapes on the ranch over the
years. During World War II Sandra was a Red Cross volunteer and an
airplane spotter at Junction School in Mill Creek. She received an
award for her many hours of service. She was an original member of
the Healdsburg Russian River Riders and enjoyed riding her buckskin
horse Tina. She also was an accomplished Square Dancer in the
1960’s in Sonoma County. She is survived by her son, Angelo
Puccioni of Rodeo; and her grandchildren Glenn Proctor and his wife
Laurie, Deneen Proctor and her husband Richard, Allison Puccioni
and her husband Tim; and her great-grand children Joshua, Forrest,
and Noah. A Mass was celebrated on June 6 at Our Lady of Mount
Carmel Catholic Church in Asti. She is interned at Oak Mount
Cemetery in Healdsburg, CA. The family of Sandra Puccioni wishes to
