Hallie H. Adams died in Petaluma on April 26, 2008, three days
after her 90th birthday.
She is survived her daughter Alberta (David) Diffenderfer of
Palo Verde and son William (Nancy) Adams of Penngrove. Also
surviving are grandchildren, Leonard (Joyce) Wesson, Westminster;
Douglas (Alicia) Adams, Sebastopol; Russell Adams, Petaluma;
Kimberly Maffia, Santa Rosa; Kenneth Terhurne, Rohnert Park; and
Kristopher (Carmen) Terhurne, Windsor.
Adams is also survived by her sisters, Virginia Wesson, Phoenix,
AZ, Lois Givler, San Dimas, CA and Betty (James) Groves, Santa
Rosa. Seven great-grand children and two great-great grand children
also survive.
Adams was a Minister of the Gospel for over 38 years. She worked
for Montgomery Wards in Santa Rosa until it closed and then moved
to the Napa store where she retired. There will be a celebration of
her life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 21 at the Hessel Church, 5060
Hessel Avenue, Sebastopol, CA. Donations are suggested to the
