Kenneth I. Del Carlo

Kenneth I. Del Carlo passed away peacefully on the morning of
May 22, 2008 at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital surrounded by his
family. Ken was born in Fort Bragg, CA to Angela Del Carlo and the
late Nello Del Carlo. Ken moved with his family to Santa Rosa where
he met and married Linda (Greiner) Del Carlo. Ken worked as a
grocery manager at Sonoma Market for 15 years. Ken loved his job.
Prior to Sonoma Market he managed and worked for A & B
Supermarket for 25 years. He loved horseracing, was an owner of
horses and enjoyed watching football and the San Francisco Giants.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; his children Sherri
Burningham of Santa Rosa and Lydia Capell of Windsor; sons in law
Kelly Burningham and Jimmy Capell; and three grandchildren,
Brendan, Angelina and Kiley. Ken is also survived by his siblings
Diane Carl, Nancy Wright and Gary Del Carlo. He is now at rest with
his father Nello and brother Michael. Ken was a great man, a
wonderful father and husband. Ken battled ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease)
for eight years. The family wants to thank Dr. Marco Steele for
being a wonderful doctor and the nurses at Santa Rosa Memorial
Hospital for being so good to Ken. Ken will be missed by many but
will be in our hearts forever. Private family services will be
held. Interment at Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
