We all make a difference
To my faithful readers and contributors, I am sad, yet excited to let you know this is my last Community Corner calendar. As my life is transitioning to new and different things, I have decided to retire as a newspaper columnist.
I want to thank all of you, especially Ray Holley, who encouraged me to go with my idea of this weekly column 11-plus years ago. I have grandchildren here in Healdsburg who I am very involved with, and many interests that I have been wanting to pursue. I have thoroughly enjoyed keeping our town abreast of all the goings on in our wonderful nonprofits.
A growing community calendar is online at
healdsburgtribune.com. If you want to add your events to the online calendar, visit healdsburg
tribune.com, scroll down the page until you see the calendar. Click “Post your event” and follow the instructions. If you have specific questions or have a press release, you can email Ray directly at

.
Thank you again all for your support over the years. Please continue all your good work. Our nonprofits are the heart of our community. You do make a difference. We all can make a difference. Please say hi when you see me around town!
