Jeff Cole-Hathaway – Loved outdoors, Mirabel
Campground

Jeff Cole-Hathaway died suddenly Dec. 7, 2008 at the age of 37.
Son of the late Roger Cole (Shirleen) and Chuck Heryford (Judy).
Cole is survived by his girlfriend Stephanie Powell; brothers Steve
Cole (Renee), Steve Heryford (Carrie) and Scott Cole; stepbrother
Jerry Patzer, and stepsister Charmaine Dickens (David); Uncles
Dennis Castle (Michelle); Neal (Joan); nieces Elizabeth, Crystal,
Shawna, Isabel and Hailey; nephews Chris, D.J., Bennie, Jimmy and
Dennis, as well as many friends and acquaintances from Benedetti
Tire, Korbel, and St. Francis Winery.
He was predeceased by his stepbrother Jeff Patzer. He was
extremely intelligent, very creative, witty, funny and a true
friend. A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed grilling and camping,
often referencing Mirabel Campground as an old family vacation
spot, where he would share moments with his family fishing,
canoeing, and enjoying sing-alongs.
Ronald Robert Jensen – Served in Army in Korea and
Germany

Ronald Jensen died on Dec. 12, 2008 at his home in Forestville
at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his wife Jackie and
father Jack Jensen. He is survived by his sons Troy and his wife
Cynthia, and Wade and his fiancée Andrea Lindbergh; grandchildren
Rylie and Brianna; mother Izetta Jensen; sister Nancy Adams and
numerous cousins. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and
Germany.
Maria Adelaide Del Negro – Loved dancing, bowling and TV
Land

Maria Del Negro died on Dec. 13, 2008. She was preceded in death
by her parents Ben and Dorothy. She is survived by sisters Debbie
Siebert and Dottie Scafani, brothers-in-law Rich Siebert and Mike
Scafani, nephews Ben, Michael, and Anthony, nieces April (Stephen)
Marina, Samantha and Carolyn.
Del Negro loved her family and friends and living with Dottie
and Mike. She loved dancing, bowling, TV Land and ice cream.

Jean M. Graham (Fellers) – Preceded in death by husband
Floyd

Jean Graham was born Jan. 16, 1922 and died Dec. 4, 2008 at the
age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd V.
Graham. She leaves behind a son David A. Graham and daughter Judy
L. (Graham) Reed.
Dante Benvenuti – Longtime Windsor resident
Dante Benvenuti, a resident of Windsor since 1992, passed away
unexpectedly on December 25, 2008 in Windsor, after spending a
wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with his family and
grandchildren. He was 71 and the dearly beloved husband of 48 years
to Catherine Benvenuti; beloved father of Michael Benvenuti
(Valerie) and Annette Benvenuti Carroll (Marc); adored grandfather
of Jillian and Grace Benvenuti and Gabriella and Joseph Carroll,
all of Windsor. Dante is also lovingly survived by his sister Susan
Knight (Bill) of Placerville; his nephews and their families and
cousins here and in Italy and numerous cousins and friends. Born in
San Francisco, California, he was a Lieutenant in the South San
Francisco Police Reserve for 23 years, retiring in 1991. Dante had
a passion for post war Lionel trains and playing his accordion.
Most importantly he was a loving husband, father and wonderful
Nonno to his grandchildren. We love you Nonno… God Bless You.
Friends were invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, December
29, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 8400
Old Redwood Highway, Windsor.
Adelaide Louise Nystrom – Moved to Healdsburg in
1945

A woman of extraordinary determination and humor, Adelaide
Louise Nystrom was born in the tiny Swedish community of Savonburg,
Kansas in 1914.
After several years of teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in
Savonburg, she moved to California in 1935 and worked her way
through San Jose State College, obtaining a teaching credential in
1937. While teaching in Aptos, CA, she met Clinton Robinson of
Santa Cruz, whom she married in 1941. Clint and Adelaide began
married life in San Francisco, where she worked while he attended
medical school at Stanford University and UC Berkeley.
The Robinsons moved to Healdsburg, CA in 1945, where they
enjoyed a life filled with friends and community service, and
raised a family of four. Among many activities, Adelaide was active
in Assistance League and Omega Nu, led Campfire Girls and Boy
Scouts, and was the organist, pianist and choir director at Good
Shepherd Lutheran Church. Her home was always open to friends and
neighbors, who knew there was a fresh pot of coffee waiting and to
neighborhood kids, who loved her welcoming ways.
Upon Clint’s retirement in 1971, they returned to Aptos and
delighted in many traveling adventures. Following Clint’s death in
1989, Adelaide moved to the retirement community of Covenant Shores
on Mercer Island, WA. In 1993, she married the Reverend Carl
Peterson, with whom she shared a fulfilling life until Carl’s
passing in 1997. Never one to look back, Addie happily remained at
Covenant Shores, enjoying a multitude of friends and
activities.
Addie’s faith and family were the cornerstones of her life. She
was a self-taught pianist whose love of music was immediately
perceived by anyone fortunate enough to hear her play. She traveled
the world with both of her husbands and with friends and family,
and was even a passenger to Paris on the Concorde at the age of 76.
Adelaide died peacefully at Covenant Shores on Dec. 14, 2008.
Loving, remembering and missing her are her children; Nancy
Robinson, Diane Peccianti, Clint Robinson, Jr. and his wife Elvira,
Jane Robinson and her husband Greg Durbin, and Jan Sullivan. Her
grandchildren; Rob Michaelson and his wife Laura, Jamie D’Amico and
her husband Joe, Anna Peccianti, Meredith Durbin, and Megan and
Kate Sullivan. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Norvell Nystrom, and her
son-in-law Tony Mauro.
Addie’s family would like to thank the staff at Covenant Shores
for their compassionate care, and her friends for their devotion .

Mon Heung Kong Low – 92 years old
Mon Heung Kong Low, after 92 years of life with many blessings,
completed life’s journey in her sleep on Dec. 21, 2008, in Santa
Rosa. Mon Heung was born in Fah Yuen, Guangdong province, China on
April 5, 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68
years, Howard Low. She was a long time resident of Healdsburg,
later Santa Rosa.
During WWII, due to the Japanese invasion of China, her family
endured many difficult years and moved around frequently from one
province to another in China. After the war and before the
Communist insurrection in 1949, she and her oldest son, Dick, once
again relocated from China to join her husband, who was working as
a meat cutter in Marysville, CA.
She is survived by her sons Dick (May), Darryl (Shirley);
daughters Mary (Ted Pon), Sally Yock-Davis and Donna (Tom
Fitzgerald); 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is
also survived by her sister Kong Choi Gee & family of Mendota,
CA, her brother Ken Kong and family of Santa Rosa, numerous nieces,
and nephews in the U.S. and China, and friends, and will be greatly
missed by all.
Relatives and friends attended a funeral on Saturday, Dec. 27 at
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, followed by burial that was at Oak
Mound Cemetery in Healdsburg.
John Brenton Stillings – Musically talented
On Thursday Dec. 18, 2008 John Brenton Stillings, age 59, lost a
long and gallant battle with cancer. He passed away at home in the
loving arms of his wife, Trudy and his sons Max and Samuel and is
finally at peace. He is also survived by his parents Jack and
Gloria Stillings of Auburn, WA, his treasured sister Gayle
Ghiglieri and family of Houston, TX, his brothers David Stillings
and family of LeGrange, KY, and Brian Stillings and family of Peru,
IN; the Doppenberg and Hartman families of Los Angeles, CA and
Prescott, AZ; dear friends Judy and Scott Simmons, his friend and
uncle Bob Stillings, Aunt Alice Evans, Uncle Larry Stillings and
Families; numerous friends and co-workers, his cats Emma and Cler
and his ’68 Mustang Bambi.
If you were fortunate enough to experience his wonderful sense
of humor or his musical talents please take a moment to reflect on
the joy he brought to your life. He will be greatly missed.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Philip Gold for his dedication to
Brent’s well being and special thanks to Laura Vadman RN for her
support.
Theodore (Ted) G. Burton, Sr. – Served in the National
Guard for 12 years

Passed away on Dec. 17, 2008 in Healdsburg. Ted was born in Fort
Francis E. Warren, Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was preceded in passing by
his father Army Lt. Theodore G. Burton, his mother Lucretia Wolcott
Butler Gibbs, his step father Byron C. Gibbs, and brother Byron
(Butch) Gibbs. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joan D. Smith
Burton, daughters Debra Archer, Patricia Turner, sons Theodore
Burton Jr., Randle Burton, brother Gregory Gibbs, sister Mary Anne
Stokesbary, grandchildren Jason Archer, Brandon Archer, Shannon
Archer, Adam Burton, Lacy Burton, Jared Burton, Derrick Burton,
Kori Turner, Chase Turner, Bailey Turner, Morgan Turner,  numerous
nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. 
Ted spent 30 plus years as a long haul truck driver, he also
served 12 years in the California State National guard earned the
rank of Sgt 1st class. There will be a private family service to be
held at a later date.
Rion D. Homan – Forestville resident
Rion Homan, died on Dec. 20, 2008 at his home in Forestville.
Homan is survived by his parents Diana Callen and Tim Collamer,
sister Courtney Collamer, and brothers Davey Homan, Justin Homan
and Jason Homan. He is also survived by his grandmother Cora
Miller; grandfather Jerry Callen; and numerous cousins.
Theresa F. Sutti (Leal) – Owned day care center in
Sebastopol

Theresa Sutti died Dec. 24, 2008 at Summerfield Nursing home in
Santa Rosa at the age of 77. She was a Sonoma County resident her
whole life, being born in Petaluma and raised and educated in
Sonoma. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting. Sutti owned
and operated a private day care for 10 years in Sebastopol.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Rogers and is
survived by two children, Victoria (Darel) Ashley and Ken (Sue)
Pilegaard; four grandchildren, DeAnn (Darren) Perkins, Andrea
(Rubin) Carreno, Kendrick (Paige) Pilegaard and Carrie (Rusty)
Pilegaard; eight great-grandchildren, Theresa, Anthony, Victoria,
Zachary, Olivia, Brody, Daniel and Trey; six surviving siblings,
Frank (Fran) Leal, Florence (Russ) Hurley, Bob (Jean) Leal,
Clarence (Sherri) Leal, Lorraine (Tom) Haseltine and Luella (Jim)
Rosentreter.
Donations may be made in her name to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospice
or the Alzheimer’s Association. A special thank you to the nursing
staff at Summerfield Nursing Home and the staff of Memorial
Hospice.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at 1 p.m. at
Pleasant Hills Memorial Park, 1700 Pleasant Hill Rd.,
Sebastopol.
Marjorie Beatrice Clark – Mother of nine
children

Marjorie Clark died Dec. 22, 2008 in Sebastopol. She was born
Dec. 16, 1919 in Hartford, Connecticut. She had just turned 89 last
week. Clark was a mother of nine children and loved by those around
her.
Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Lee Clark;
sons, Thomas Joseph, and Michael Jerome. She is survived by three
daughters, Stella, Beatrice, and Dorothy; four sons, Stephen,
Bernard, Gustave, and Chris, their husbands and wives, 12
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Bonnie Wilson – Enjoyed drives, casinos
Bonnie Wilson died Dec. 25, 2008 in Santa Rosa at the age of
84. She was born in Caruthersville, MO and was a Sonoma County
resident since 1939. Her greatest joy in life were her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed days out to the
casino and country drives reminiscing about raising her family.
Wilson was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Roy
Wilson; daughter Linda Wilson, son Gary Wilson, daughter-in-law
Gloria Parnie and great-granddaughter Alicia Coleman. She is
survived by son Roy Wilson (Susanne), daughter Barbara Nichols
(Curtis), son Doug Wilson (Sherinne); daughter-in-law, Toni Wilson;
grandchildren; John Wilson (Kathryn), Ben Wilson (Julie), Gary
Wilson, Shannon Wilson, Ryan Nichols, Greg Nichols, Tyler Wilson,
Emily Wilson, Travis Wilson, Jesse Huff, Jessica Huff and Andre
Nelson, and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
Alma M. Thomson (Crottogini) – Born in Valley Ford,
attended Estero School

Alma Thomson died on Dec. 14, 2008 in Santa Rosa at the age of
88. Thomson was born at home in Valley Ford and was a student at
Estero School, a one room school house there. She had a life-long
love of singing, winning a contest while in her teens and
continuing for many decades singing with her church choir, the
Billy Graham Crusade Choir and singing in the choir at a
celebration for the 10th Anniversary of the United Nations.
Thomson is survived by her husband of 60 years, John; her
daughter Mary, both of Santa Rosa; her son Michael, daughter-in-law
Lynne and her grandchildren David and Megan, all of Fremont. She is
also survived by her sisters Gloria Corda, Evelyn Kizerian; her
brother Wilfred Corda; her sister-in-law Martha Thomson and many
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary
Corda. A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, Jan. 18,
2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Congregational UCC Church, 2000
Humboldt St., Santa Rosa, CA.

Congregational Church Music Fund at the above address.
