any program of interest. Unless otherwise noted, all programs and

awareness into the areas of your body that help us stay balanced.

redevelop stability. The use of chairs and mats will support
participants in a fun and safe experience. Tuesdays 12:45-2 p.m.,

The Walking Club Has Begun
Join Cheryl Dilworth, Senior Center Assistant, on Wednesday,
April 14, for our first scheduled group walk. Everyone is welcome!
We will meet at the front door of the Healdsburg Senior Center, at
10:30 a.m. sharp. Our walking theme will be “Old Victorians”, so
put on your walking shoes and get ready for a 1 to 2 mile
adventure. Walking Club participants will log their miles walked
this spring and summer regardless of where/when they walk. Don’t
forget to bring your pedometer to track your miles.
ART as a second language
Begins Friday, April 16. Have you ever been told you couldn’t
draw but wanted to? Now is the time to put that all behind you and
join our new art class. We will start with chalk/pastels using
color, form, and shapes to express yourself. Registration required
by calling 431-3324.
Gentle Yoga
This is an excellent class for improving flexibility, breathing
capacity, balance and muscle strength. The Wednesday class is a
predominately seated class; the Friday class is on the floor. Both

Classes are held at Healdsburg Yoga Studio. The classes are held
from 10-11 a.m. on both Wednesday and Friday. Take one class per
week, or take both. Wednesdays beginning April 14/Fridays beginning
April 16. Fee: $65 for a 6-week session or $105 for both Wednesday
and Friday (a 20% discount).
Angel Island Bus Trip – Tuesday, June 8
Our tour begins with a ferry ride from Tiburon to Angel Island.
Upon arrival we will enjoy a fascinating journey into the island’s
history and cultural past on a captivating, audio-enhanced Tram
Tour. We will visit historic sites and enjoy breathtaking views of
the Bay, San Francisco skyline, Sausalito, Tiburon and the Golden
Gate Bridge, all from the comfort of the open-air trams. We will
enjoy lunch (included in registration fee) on the Harbor View Deck
of the Cove Café. There will be approximately 2 hours for us to
explore the island on our own after lunch. We will depart Angel
Island at 3:30 and return to Healdsburg around 5:30 p.m. Space is
limited and we anticipate a quick sell out on this very popular
adventure. Members $95, non-members $105. $5 early bird discount if
registered by April 16.
