Jeannette “Janet” Ann Murray, 79, of Windsor, California, passed away from complications of pneumonia and heart disease, Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. We all miss her, but she joins her beloved husband and is with our Lord Jesus and is in peace.

Janet was born June 24, 1938 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to John and Mary Lach. She graduated from St Elizabeth School of Nursing in Chicago, Ill in 1959 with an R.N. degree. On November 12, 1960 she married William Murray in Chicago, Illinois. She enjoyed nursing, but put her career on hold while raising a family. After retirement in 1989, she and William moved to Windsor, CA and became very involved at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, and visiting friends and family.
Jeannette is survived by her son Michael (Kathy) Murray of Mountain View, CA, and two daughters, Cheryl Murray of Windsor, CA, and Linda (William Campos) Murray of San Jose, CA, three grandchildren Allison Murray and Amanda Murray of Mountain View, CA, and Thomas of Windsor, CA, her three sisters from the Chicago area: Eileen Gaull, Patricia Ivanauski, and Toni Kosydar, and many nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years William Murray, and parents John and Mary Lach.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 8400 Old Redwood Highway, Windsor, California 95492. Reverend Michaelraj Philominsamy will be celebrating. Private interment will be held at Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Services provided by Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary.
