Mark Thomas Matthew Burger, PharmD, was a gift to the health of all that knew him. On Sunday morning, May 7th, 2017 with his wife by his side, he slipped away from us without notice. Mark was husband and beloved partner to Terri Burger with whom he served our community and beyond from the treasure they built on the Town Green in Windsor CA, Health First Pharmacy and Compounding Center. Mark taught the value of integrative functional medicine, eating for health and living in balance. He was creative in his compounding, combining healthy medical solutions with the common sense innate in the cleanest of delivery systems -health without harm! Mark remained invigorated by his work and NEVER stopped learning. His Pharmacy Family will continue his hard work from the depths of their hearts.
Mark’s love lives on in his sons Luke and Seth, two young men with the promise and talent that provided him good reason for a little healthy pride and satisfaction. Their mother, Rosa, enriched their mutual family with her love and strength. Mark cherished his close relationship with his sister’s, Debbie and Diane. Family and friends were important to him always.
For all that he was to each of us, we invite you to join our celebration of his life in a casual, pot-luck, story-sharing, gathering at the home of his dear friend, Wendy Quinn at 7395 Starr Road in Windsor, CA from 1-4:00pm on Sunday June 25th. In lieu of flowers, please help us throw a great party for Mark by bringing a dish, dessert or drink to share.
