Relay for Life
Editor: Relay for Life of Windsor begins Saturday, July 20, 10 a.m, in Keiser Park. Everyone is invited to this event. If you are a cancer survivor, you may register at the Relay.
We have a large assortment of silent auction items available. We urge you to take the time to view these items. Where else can you bid on a lunch with our wonderful firefighters, a sail boat in a bottle, a unique jewelry box? The entire amount collected from the sale of these items are donated to the American Cancer Society. Also, all the participants in our Relay are volunteers. There is one paid staff member on site.
Please stop by and show your support for the cancer survivors, their caregivers, and our dedicated volunteers. The Relay begins at 10 a.m. Saturday morning and ends at 10 a.m. Sunday morning. We walk those 24 hours for those who can’t.

Editor: As one of the organizer of the St. Baldrick’s event here in Windsor I personally know the generosity of UPTick Vineyards. UpTick has donated $7,500 over the two years of the event. They have never asked for anything in return and from my conversations with them, I can tell they genuinely care about the community and people.
This is the type of local business that I have supported and will continue to support in their new location. I hope people reading this will also show their support for them. With more people and businesses like this who knows what we can accomplish.
