Relay for Life
Editor: Relay for Life of Windsor begins this Saturday, July 19, 10 a.m. at Keiser Park. Everyone is invited to stop by to celebrate cancer survivors and their caretakers. During the day we do recognize survivors and caretakers. At dusk, we pause to reflect on those who lost their fight. Donations fund research and services provided by the American Cancer Society for all types of cancer. Progress is being made in finding cures. Please stop by to cheer us on and also to check out our wonderful auction items. Relay team members are on site from Saturday morning, beginning at 10 a.m., until Sunday morning, at 10 a.m. (Yes, we are there for 24 hours because cancer never sleeps.)

Thank you Windsor
Editor: I want to thank the residents of Windsor for their support during the June 3 primary election. I also want to thank the majority of the Windsor City Council, and the seven former Windsor mayors, who have endorsed our campaign for Sonoma County Supervisor.
As both a civic-minded resident and a candidate for County office, I thank you all for joining me in exercising our most basic right as citizens; choosing those who represent us.
I am honored to have received so much support and am excited to be advancing to the General Election, set for Nov. 4.
I want to recognize my opponents for their hard-fought efforts to represent this community, and for bringing a variety of issues forward.
Over the next several months, I’m committed to working harder than ever to reach back out to the residents of the Fourth District to hear their voices, ideas and concerns about the future of Sonoma County.
For those voters who supported another candidate, I hope you’ll give me the opportunity to earn your support as I work to bring a fresh perspective and real leadership to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors. Thank you.
