Beverly Jebb Muntzing

Beverly Jebb Muntzing of Windsor, CA, died on Sunday, June 11 in Santa Rose, CA. Born in Nashua, NH, on September 30, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Mabel (Pearson) Jebb of Merrimack.
After graduating with the Nashua High School class of 1949, Beverly received an Associate Degree from Westbrook Junior College, now the University of New England, and a degree in Elementary Education from Lesley College. In 1957 she married William H. Muntzing II and moved to Florida where they lived in St. Petersburg, Tallahassee, and Kissimmee. In 2014 she relocated to Windsor, CA.
A multi-talented, elegant and vibrant woman, Beverly was above all a devout and active Christian and proud patriot. These values guided her in all aspects of family and civic life. Among her many accomplishments number prize-winning knitting projects, sewing, and gracious gourmet entertaining. She never met a stranger as she traveled around the globe with a perfectly packed suitcase. Her athleticism was on display as she skillfully skied, sailed and played tennis; and opponents knew her as a competitive card player. An avid reader of history, religion, current affairs and politics, Beverly was a loyal member of the Republican Party. She campaigned tirelessly for candidates and served as a Florida State Committeewoman. Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Mayflower Society, and Daughters of the Nile brought her great pride and pleasure. For many years she enjoyed serving as a University of New England trustee, and relished returning for reunions there and at Nashua High School.
Survivors include her three children, William H. Muntzing III of Clermont, Florida, Suzanne J. Edwards (Hammond) of Reno, Nevada, and Steven H. Muntzing (Kristin) of Valparaiso, IN, plus grandchildren Bridget M. Houck (Russell) of Greenwood, IN and 2nd Lt. Eric C. Muntzing of Valparaiso, IN. She was predeceased by brothers Richard P. and Willard I. Jebb, Jr. Sisters Ellen J. Curelop of Nashua, NH and Suzanne J. Tether of Sunapee, NH cherish her memory and mourn her passing, as do many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
