See’s Candy fundraiser – Thursday, Dec. 3
The senior center will hold its annual See’s Candy Fundraiser at the Town of Windsor Holiday Celebration on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 5 – 8 p.m. Come see us in the Huerta Gymnasium and save a trip to the mall. They are perfect for stocking stuffers and other gifts.
Holiday pasta dinner – Wednesday, Dec. 9
The senior center invites you to a holiday pasta dinner. Join us for a delicious meal, prepared by an authentic Italian grandma. Dinner will consist of pasta with your choice of pesto or meat sauce, baguette, Caesar salad and dessert. Special holiday entertainment will be provided. Please pre-purchase your ticket at the front desk no later than Dec. 1. The event will be 5 – 7 p.m. and tickets are $10.
Free introductory Hatha Yoga class – Thursday, Dec. 10
We are going to hold a free informal hatha yoga class to introduce our new gentle hatha yoga instructor, Char Rigg, and the new class that she will be teaching every Thursday from 2 – 3:15 p.m. starting on Jan. 7, 2016. Gentle hatha yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility, as well as emphasizes breath awareness to calm the nervous system and poses to increase core strength.
