Operation Turkey needs support
EDITOR: Windsor High School Boosters will be joining the Kiwanis Toy Giveaway, Windsor Service Alliance Food Drive and Santa Tim this holiday season for Operation Turkey. This drive helps raise money to purchase turkeys to complete meals the Windsor Service Alliance is supplying to families in need this holiday season. We are asking for donations of money or supermarket gift cards that we can in turn purchase turkeys for these dinners.
The event will be held on Dec. 16 at the Windsor High School gymnasium. This operation benefits over 150 families in our community and attracts more attendees each year. This is a win/win situation when your community benefits from your donation and you receive the goodwill which comes as a result of your generosity.
