Editor: Who among us has the right to deny another human being
access to affordable health care?
What fears cause us to turn away from the suffering of
others?
How have we come to believe, “love your neighbor as yourself”
excludes the poor, the sick, people of other colors, cultures,
faiths, and those who do so much of the work of our land but are
undocumented?
We need to practice doing the right thing, trusting that in
providing health care for others, there will be enough care to go
around.
Remember the loaves and fishes.
There is always enough of God’s love to share.
