The Easter Bunny checks in
Editor: Hello again to all the Healdsburg kids, parents and grandparents. I’m going to be passing through the ‘Burg in a few days, and I look forward to meeting you all at the annual Easter Egg Hunt. I always enjoy my visits to Healdsburg, as I have found out that the nicest people live there.
It’s always fun to see old friends and meet new ones. As always, I’ll have my bunny sack loaded with Easter eggs, candies, and other goodies. My friends John and Kim at Big Johns (they are honorary bunnies), have been kind enough to provide us with thousands of dyed Easter eggs, and my Rotary friends will hide those eggs and other goodies.
We have separate sections for different age groups, even a special section for toddlers. Also our friends at Spoke Folk Cyclery (they are bike-bunnies), have provided three beautiful bicycles and helmets that we will raffle off at the egg hunt.
We will see you this Saturday morning, March 26 at Healdsburg Elementary School, Fitch Mountain campus at University and Monte Vista. The Easter Egg Hunt starts promptly 9 a.m. sharp, so tell your parents to be there on time.
Also remind your parents to bring their cameras so they can take pictures with me. All Healdsburg area kids and family are welcome to join us. I thank my Rotary friends for arranging this, and I look forward to meeting all the Healdsburg kids and their families. See you Saturday at 9 a.m. sharp.
