Thanks to Sunrise
EDITOR: I want to take this opportunity, along with the people
of Sebastopol, to say a big thank you to the members of the Rotary
Club of Sebastopol Sunrise for cooking, preparing, and serving the
delicious dinner at the Masonic Hall on Christmas Day again this
year. This is a free event for anyone who likes to come.
What a feast of turkey, dressing, ham and all the other food the
people prepared. Also, this and all the desserts were truly
delicious. Jim Corbett, AKA Mr. Music, was there with his music.
Several dozen people joined in the singing of Christmas carols,
myself included. What fun it was. Santa Claus also made a
visit.
A big thank you to anyone who helped, also the volunteers and
donations of money. Some of my friends here at Burbank Heights
& Orchards also enjoyed this wonderful meal. And it was all
free. What a great time everyone had. Also to the Fire Dept. for
their free breakfast every year in October and to the members and
Pastor Gene Nelson at the Community Church for the free
Thanksgiving dinner. This community is a great place to live.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could end all hunger? Another big
thank you to those who made this event possible.
