In memory of Mike Brady
Editor: On behalf of Sebastopol Little League, I would like to
send our condolences to the Brady family. We have known and enjoyed
the Brady family for several years. The enthusiasm that the entire
Brady family exudes in life leaves a lot for us to follow.
Since their arrival from San Diego in 2007, the Brady’s have
been actively involved in our community. While their affection for
the community is strong, the common family thread surrounded a love
for baseball. Both Mike and Susan have played an important role for
Sebastopol Little League and their children. Mike, having coached
with a zest and straightforward personality that was contagious to
anyone around him, and Susan who volunteers as a board member,
top-notch scorekeeper, team mom, and all around volunteer.
Since his arrival to the area, Mike could be found on any one of
the baseball fields coaching our children. Mike always had a smile
on his face and a positive attitude with all of the children,
especially his own, Justin and Jacob. His presence at games during
his bout with illness was an inspiration to the players around him
who witnessed an attitude to never give up and give it all you
have! We have watched Justin and Jacob grow both off and on the
field over the past few years. They are and will no doubt become
the men of character that their father is and was. At this
juncture, we wish them, as well as Susan, a life of wonderful
memories, a positive foundation, and a never give up attitude.
