Democrat terrorism
Editor: It’s peculiar that recent letter writers to this paper attempt discrediting Bob Burdo, a longtime, respected servant of our community (and thousands who have repeatedly elected him) because he is a “conservative Republican” — as if conservative Republicans must be monsters.
“Progressives” deserve the shame and reproach for working hard to destroy America. Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, D.C., cities Democrats have ruled for generations, prove that “progressives” oppress and exploit the poor and minorities. Skyrocketing minority and teen unemployment enslave them to their Democrat “masters.”
“Progressives” only win elections by lying. Shame on those who voted for such deceivers as Jordan Burns, knowingly lying to get elected. “Progressives” can never be trusted to tell the truth.
“Progressives” endanger countless lives. Vietnam, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, inner city America — “progressives” consistently work to kill the spirit if not the lives of the innocent, minorities, children and our heroes. “Progressives” use these people as their pawns and human shields to increase their own oppressive power.
Anyone can see that “progressives” are intolerant, hate-filled, enemies of law abiding Americans. They terrorize by silencing or eliminating every opposing viewpoint. The sooner Americans throw off the shackles of Democrat terrorism, racism, oppression and slavery, the better.

Sebastopol
Thank you voters
Editor: It is with genuine gratitude that I embark upon my second term on the Sebastopol City Council; to have the trust of Sebastopol residents is deeply appreciated. My reelection would not have possible without the help of so many others, but chiefly I would like to thank my wife, Theresa, for her unending support and encouragement.
It is also important to thank our community for the passage of Measure R which will provide funding for many things we find important, among them; continuing supporting our Community Benefit Grant program, budgeting for City vehicle replacements, providing additional funding for road repairs and installing bike lanes. We live in a remarkably generous community.
Patrick Slayter
Vice Mayor, City of Sebastopol
