Letter: Starting with the soil

Editor: It doesn¹t start with roots. It starts with soil.
The soil of the Middle East is poisoned by Islamic fascism.
The world¹s facing an enemy that seeks to convert or kill us.
Islamofascists believe in slavery, the complete submission of women
to men, the killing of homosexuals, atheists, Jews, Christians,
anyone who doesn¹t submit to Allah. They don¹t celebrate
diversity.
You¹d think that the world¹s leftists should be in the forefront
of the fight against Islamofascism. Unfortunately, they¹ve
partnered with the jihadis to fight the spread of democracy and
capitalism instead of standing up for that which they profess to
represent.
Blaming the Jews for problems in the Middle East is nothing
short of anti-Semitic.  The Jews were there long before Islam
existed. Jesus¹ first miracle took place at a wedding feast in a
town now known as Qana. This week Qana made the headlines as
Israeli bombs leveled a civilian-occupied building from which
Hizbollah terrorists fired missiles into Israel, and took shelter.
Knowing the Israelis will strike back, they fire from civilian and
UN positions hoping that civilians or UN personnel will be killed.
The leftist media knows this as well. Still, Israel is portrayed as
a murderer of civilians, yet terrorists using civilians as shields,
firing thousands of rockets into Israel¹s cities, and blowing up
cafes, hotels, and buses are not similarly denounced.
The left has never shied away from anti-Semitism. Nazi
Socialists tried to exterminate the Jews. The Soviet Union began
with pogroms and purges that lasted until the fall of the Berlin
Wall, and outlawed only one language: Hebrew. The leftist media
never passes up an opportunity to portray Israel as an occupier or
oppressor, while lauding the so-called ³religion of peace² that is
trying to force the world into submission.
The leftist suicide pact with the jihadis has them believing
that once democracy and capitalism have been vanquished, the age of
enlightenment will begin, and the jihadis will abandon the
irrational belief in a god to embrace the wonders of socialism.
Too late they will find themselves on their knees in orange
jumpsuits, hands tied behind their backs, feeling a sharp blade
carve into their throats as men behind them chant ³Allahu
Ahkbar.²
