LETTER: Not any safer

EDITOR: The five year anniversary of 9/11 has many of us
thinking about our national security. Once again, Republicans are
exploiting this tragedy and the fear of the American people for
their own political gain. But these same people who are exploiting
our fear have made us less safe by invading Iraq.
And, they have disrespected the lives lost in 9/11 by putting
forth only minimal effort to catch Osama Bin Laden.
