Deepen the trench
Editor:
“It has saddened me that each time there is a change in political leadership. the trenches have been dug even deeper.”
So true — so true; not even two weeks post election, Obama gets out the old steam shovel and cranks it up to deepen the trench by forcing his immigration bill down our collective throats. The timing was just excellent, a sure way to start that co-operative effort he pretends to want.

Thanks from the Dorsett family
Editor:
To the Cloverdale History Center and the citizens who attended the Nov. 15 event at the Cloverdale Airport and everyone involved:
The Dorsett family would like to thank you for coming out to view the WWI British Se5 replica bi-plane. We had an amazing time building it. Is has had its fair share of success and failures through the years. I do think that our greatest benefit aside from the aeroplane itself, were the wonderful looks and comments like the ones we received last weekend from all of you.
Also, a project like this would not have been possible without the tools, parts and advice collected from all of our family, friends, comrades as well as total strangers through the years who have helped up out. The list is a long one. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to each and every one of you! We hope to see our favorite town from the skies soon!
Brian Dorsett and family, Cloverdale
