Cloverdale Indivisible is not a “Democrat group.”
Indivisible is a national movement that believes in grassroots activism involving small groups of committed citizens with a vision that government institutions at all levels reflect the people served. This encompasses civil rights — gender, race, ethnicity and religion; economic justice; progressive values; freedom; safety; respect and fairness within the community.
Indivisible groups engage with local, state and federal politicians to communicate agreement or disagreement on policies that support or counter the movement’s values by writing to and calling politicians and encouraging the community to do the same.

Helping the U.S. Coast Guard
EDITOR: As most of you know, Jane and I are on the coast and in the ocean a lot. Between local boating and several trips per year to Southern California for diving, we have relied on the Coast Guard to project the boaters and mariners on our coasts, rivers and several lakes. With the current government shutdown, the Coast Guard Training Center finds several young Coast Guard families along with veterans, struggling to pay their bills while they have been forced to work without pay — indentured servitude. Jane and I are donating cash to these fine young men and women and their families. If you choose to donate cash, please reach to me as we are working with a local Cloverdale family whose two adult children are in the Coast Guard stationed in Petaluma.
