Thank you from youth soccer
EDITOR: As the Cloverdale Youth Soccer League gears up for another year we would like to send a huge thank you to our corporate sponsors. These companies and their generous financial support provided the opportunity for 250 of our youth to play recreational soccer this last fall.
Also, we would like to thank outgoing board members Katie Silva, president; Mike Silva, coaches coordinator; Debra Chupp, equipment and photo coordinator; and Sabina Domenici, referee coordinator and VP. Their hard work made our soccer program better.
And last but not least, thanks to Hector Galvan and the City of Cloverdale Public Works crew for working to the fields in great playing condition.
Online registration is open now with a discount for early registration. Thank you.

In response to ‘shocking play’ letter
EDITOR: I beg to differ with Ms. Caudill’s letter to the editor in last week’s Reveille. What I experienced at CPAC’s production of “Just Kidding” was no worse than what I imagine one would hear around our town according to the March 21 Cloverdale police log. The play gave ample warning ahead of time that there would be adult language and situations. The community had a choice, just as I made a choice not to attend an excellent play last year because of the use of stage blood (I’m squeamish). This was a realistic story about rejecting foul language and bad behavior. The nasty guys were defeated and the better men won. I thank CPAC for bringing us a variety of pays which heighten our awareness of others and spark discussion.
