Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week. Recipients will receive a free small soda, small bag of chips and sandwich from Pohley’s Market.
Albertson helps lacrosse team to first playoff berth
Junior lacrosse player Christian Albertson has been at the center of an historic season for the Jaguars, emerging as the team’s second leading scorer. The talented Albertson enjoyed arguably his best week in the final stretch of the NBL campaign, combining for six goals and a pair of assists in wins over Sonoma Academy and Rancho Cotate. The victories qualified Windsor for its first ever playoff berth.
Robertshaw rounding into form for WHS track team
Junior distance runner Allegra Robertshaw is nearing peak condition for the WHS track squad, as evidenced by a strong recent effort in a dual meet with Cardinal Newman. A cross country and track standout, Robertshaw placed second in a hotly contested 800 Meter race, covering the distance in a fast 2:44.10.
