Track and Field
The Windsor High School “Running Jags” took on Rancho Cotate and host Montgomery in a three-way track meet on April 20, turning in arguably their best overall performance of the season.
Leading the way for the varsity boys were first-place efforts from Marcel Sands (100 Meters), Lucas Chung (1,600, 3,200 Meters), Filberto Zuniga (Shot Put) and William Mctaggart (Discus).
Striking gold for the varsity girls were Giselle Saleby (100, 200 Meters), Maddie Call (100 High Hurdles, 300 Meter Intermediate Hurdles, Long Jump) and Alyssa Stewart (Triple Jump).
Next up for the Jaguars is a league home dual meet on Wednesday, April 27 against visiting Cardinal Newman (4 p.m.).
