High school sports cancelled this week

All scheduled high school sporting events are cancelled this week in the wake of the devastating fires that have swept through the county.

With hundreds of North Bay families in full evacuation mode and campuses closed until further notice, the decision was made on Tuesday that air quality was too unhealthy for participating athletes.
In the coming days athletic directors will gather to form a plan for a modified league schedule going forward.
