The Lady Jaguars are out to a sizzling start on the preseason soccer circuit, scoring two wins and a tie in the team’s first three matches.

“We’re doing a good job of possessing the ball and controlling the game, but we’re not putting the ball in the back of net despite a lot of opportunities,” WHS coach Mark Archambault said. “We’re slowly coming together as a team and improving each game.”
The Jags opened the 2017-18 campaign on Nov. 22 at Tamalpais, battling back from a 2-1 halftime deficit to post a 3-2 win. Goal scorers for Windsor included Amber Balogh, Isabella Chavez and Samantha Moberly. Assists went to Madison Monroe, Carmi Dotario and Chavez.
Windsor was back on the pitch against visiting Novato on Nov. 30, again erasing a 1-0 halftime deficit to salvage a 1-1 tie. Balogh was credited with the goal on an assist from Madi Baer.
The ladies traveled to Concord on Saturday, breaking a scoreless halftime deadlock with a goal from Balogh after intermission en route to a 1-0 victory. Alyna Gonzalez got the assist for the Jaguars.
