Prolific scorer – Senior soccer veteran Katie Bianchi, shown here in a match against Analy, tallied the lone Windsor goal in a hard-fought 1-0 victory over visiting Casa Grande on Dec. 13.

The Lady Jaguars continued their winning ways on the high school soccer pitch last week, gaining an even split in a pair of matches.

Windsor opened the action at home on Dec. 13 with a hard fought 1-0 league victory over visiting Casa Grande, but finished on Saturday with a 4-0 non-league loss at Livermore.
This week, the Lady Jags (4-2-2, 1-1) will visit Rancho Cotate on Wednesday, Dec. 20 and return home to host Santa Rosa on Friday, Dec. 22 (6 p.m.).
The ladies were locked in a scoreless tie for most of the first half in the Dec. 13 meeting with Casa Grande when Katie Bianchi took a pass from Amber Balogh and drove it into the net for a 1-0 lead at the break. Neither team could muster a goal in the final 40 minutes as Windsor hung on for a 1-0 win.
The Jaguars never got their offense going in a Dec. 16 visit to defending NCS champion Livermore, yielding four goals after intermission in a 4-0 loss.
